What I always do when I feel under pressure recently
Two weeks ago, I really wanted to have an ice cream that is cheese-tart flavor and sold in FamilyMart after the Spanish class. However, I went to about 10 FamilyMart in total during the weekend and found the ice cream was not sold near my house. I was really disappointed, for I seldom had this kind of desire for having one certain food. Finally, I bought it last Monday after our composition class and felt the ice cream was the most delicious food in the world.

As for the reason why I really want to eat that ice cream, it is because I haven’t taken a “real” break since the beginning of this semester. I have a lot on my plate due to my curriculum of this semester, just like what my classmates and friends feel as well. In my opinion, keeping complaining won’t make me happy, and the to-do list is still there! Thus, I tend to find some cuisines which look appealing and delicious to eat as compensation after the busy week! For instance, during the past two weeks, besides the ice cream mentioned above, I also had spicy Miso Ramen, Korean Soybean Paste Stew with tofu, Oyakodon, Thai cuisine, hot-pressed sandwich, and so on. It seems like I am really a foodie after I tried to mention some food I ate recently, and I have to admit that food is the breath of my life without a doubt.
There are another two ways for me to release the daily stress, which are exercising and tidying up the room. I have made them a habit since I was in my senior high, but recently I find I do it more frequently. Firstly, most of the time, I will do plank, squat,
crunch, and sit-up 300 times per day except for the day I am not in a good condition. Going work out can not only lose fat and weight but also keep me healthy, especially for improving my posture and making me more confident. Secondly, I clean up the dorm twice a day because it really makes me happy that I think the living quality is increasing. However, my roommates complaint that it’s really weird that they don’t need to do anything to improve the environment of our room. I think maybe I should cut down the frequency of tidying up the room recently, or my roommates seem to go crazy. (I feel so sorry.)
