I think my writing skill in the aspect of word choices is improved if compared to the ones I wrote in the last semester, and I think it’s the way of the overall design that improves. From conducting self-assessment and peer-assessment of the Wix e-portfolio, I understand and see my classmates’ different ways of design. For instance, I compare what’s the differences between mine and others to see others’ advantages and disadvantages as well. Every classmate will be good at something, and all the choices we made were totally different. During the process, I can learn a lot from my peers. On the contrary, if I think something can be enhanced in others’ e-portfolios, I’ll look back to mine, checking whether I avoid the same mistake or not. Besides, I can take a look at others’ journals. It’s really interesting and warm that everyone comments on your journal. Actually, I was afraid and worried in the very beginning, asking myself if my topic is not interesting, which I should do. After the first commenting, I kind of deeply fell in love with commenting on others’ work. It’s just like we exchanged our diary with friends in the primary school, and everything in the diary can make us smile even if it’s just a little thing happening in our daily life. Uploading homework on Wix is totally different from doing the same thing on E-course 2. The biggest difference is that we need to be more careful about not only the content itself but the overall visual design for the readers. We need to be more considerate when designing our homework. Also, on Wix, it seems like we have more chances to interact with professor and classmates if compared to ecourse2. On ecourse, we only need to click on the button, shifting our homework to the dropbox and send it. That’s the whole process, and somehow I feel it’s not real. After a semester, I can see what I have done through the whole semester or year, for I have created something on my own way.
    As for the part of challenges, I think the problems that I have faced were all left on the previous semester. But I do not mean to say the process of creating is difficult or something, it’s just because I wasn’t familiar with Wix at that time. After asking(or annoying?) my friends several times, I conquered the problems. If I need to create something to show others my work, I think Wix will be one of the tools that I can use.
