This is my first trying to create a writing e-portfolio. In the very beginning, I don’t really know what I should do or how to create, especially the design for the e-portfolio. After solving these problems, there are some other problem, which is the way to design. For instance, how to make my writing more clear for the reader, the word font, the choices of pictures, etc. And I ask my classmates several times to solve my countless problems. However, after solving all these mentioned above, I think I get an extra ability to do something for this process of creating wix. On the other hand, I think it makes my homework more interesting, for I can design it on my way(based on what I have written on my essay) but not just hand in a document without any picture to my teacher. It’s indeed a fun experience, and after making and designing it, I think I get some sense of accomplishment because I can see what I actually do in this lecture in this semester. To me, creating an e-portfolio in this class makes me think of other possibilities.

    In the past, I do not know what to do if the professor tells me to hand in some record of one specific course, and I might just make a powerpoint, with lots of pictures and my feedback；or I will just write down the schedule of the class weekly word by word with my refection in the end of that document and hand it in. That’s all. But now I have another way to show others how I learn from this course or my work, and anyone who gets the link can easily see it on the Internet. Thus, there’s no need to worry if my work will be displayed to some others that I don’t want them to see or my work will be copied without asking me, which I think it’s really useful and beneficial to me. Also, in the process of creating it, I need to consider a lot. For example, whether the pictures are proper or not? If the word font is too big or too small? Or, if I put all the reverence and the sources in the end of my essay? During this process, I think I am more careful about this kind of issue, which I don’t care in the past at all. All in all, to me, this e-portfolio is quite useful and interesting, and I really feel it benefited.
